How To Apply For NECO Script(S) Remarking

NOTE: Candidates must apply within 16 months after the release of results, and complaints

must be on scores/grades of either Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) or

Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal/External.

For school-based examination, applications must be written on behalf of the candidate by

the school authority, duly signed and stamped by the principal. In the case of private

candidates, that is, (SSCE External), the application should be written by the candidate.

Applicants must pay into NECO TSA account, the prescribed fee of Twenty Thousand Naira

Only (20,000.00) per paper for SSCE Internal/External, and Fifteen Thousand Naira Only

(15,000.00) per paper for BECE.

All applications should be addressed to the Registrar/Chief Executive National

Examinations Council (NECO), through the State Coordinator, through the Zonal

Coordinator, with the following details;

a. Candidate's Name

b. Candidate's Registration Number

c. Subject(s)

d. Centre Name

e. Centre Number

f. Examination Type and Year

h. Nature of the complaint(s)
