ELECTRICITY ESSAY CHALLENGE

The NERC Annual Essay Competition is here!

This competition is open to ONLY SS2 students in Nigeria. Interested SS2 students should write an essay of not less than 450 words and not more than 500 words, on the topic "Benefits of metering in the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI)". Fantastic prizes to be won by:

First, Second and Third Position winners

Submission opens on May 30th and ends on June 24th 2022.

The essay can be submitted by email to electricitychallenge@nerc.gov.ng OR in an A4 envelop properly sealed and addressed as follows:

Assessment Criteria

• All essays must be submitted in PDF format.
• All submissions must contain the NAME OF THE STUDENT, FULL HOME AND SCHOOL ADDRESSES, EMAIL ADDRESS AND CONTACT PHONE NUMBER on the PDF document submitted.
• Double entry will lead to automatic disqualification.
• Entries must reach the above address on or before the 24" of June by 5p.m. Any entry received after the 24th of June is automatically disqualified.
