Check If You're Eligible for $5,000 One Time Federal Government Grant

The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development in partnership with Tiimafrica is giving out a one time grant of up to $5,000 to eligible Nigerians. The grant will be given to Nigerians between 25-35 years. Interested applicants are required to run a business of their own within Nigeria. The applicants must also have 6 months financial record before they can become eligible for the grant.

The commencement of the disbursement of the grant was announced by the Personal Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad. The programme is titled 'Project Grow 100'. Bashir made the announcement earlier today, Thursday February 11, 2021. The grant reopened on the 4th of February and will last till the 19th day of February, 2021.

According to Bashir Ahmad, the grant is a one time grant for young business owners who need financial assistance to boost their businesses. An applicant can get as much as $5,000 which can only be given once. The applicants must prove that their business is real and functional for at least 6 months. To prove the existence of the business, applicants must provide 6 months financial record of their business before they can qualify.

The grant is part of the commitment of the Buhari led administration to provide job opportunities for Nigerian youths. The grant can only be accessed by Nigerian youths who own business within Nigeria. The applicants must not be younger than 25 years or older than 35 years.
