Finally, The FG Approved To Employ 774,000 Youths, 1000 For Each LG

The Federal Government is set to employ 774,000 youths tomorrow. This is to mitigate socio-economic effects of Covid-19 pandemic.

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally approved the engagement of 774,000 Nigerians Youths by the National Directorate Of Employment (NDE) under the extended social works program.

The Following are the expected areas where the the youths are to work.

i. Drain, desilting and maintenance

ii. Irrigation

iii. Rural feeder roads maintenance

iv. Green walls, nurseries and orchard maintenance

v. Traffic control

vi. Public infrastructure cleaning and maintenance.
