Nigeria's Second Economic Downturn Under The Present Government
According to figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Saturday, the economy grew by 3.62% in the third quarter of 2020, according to TheCable.
This is the end of the Economic Average, the second GDP since the 2016 economy.
Total GDP growth in the first nine months of 2020 stood at -2.48 percent. Nigeria's share of GDP has fallen since 1987, when GDPn fell by 10.8 percent.
Figures released by the World Bank and the NBS, followed by TheCabIe, say this is Nigeria's second economic downturn under President Muhammadu Buhari. four as Chief of Army Staff.
