Argungu International Fishing Festival

Argungu is a local government of Kebbi State in Northwest zone with an estimated population of 47,000, and is among the 4 four Emirates council in kebbi state. Argungu is rule by Emir Muhammad Samaila mera. The area offers visitors the best of hospitality, kind and hilarious events. 

on the other hand, argungu is an attraction that hold enough history like makwashe and kanta Argungu fishing festival is a four (4) days annual fishing festival held in Matan Fada river at Argungu Town, the festival usually commenced at the end of the year(dry season) during the period that all farmers harvested their Crops. Beside the fishing festival a lot of programs and events will also held such as Tauri, Sharo, Tsibbo, Dambe(wrestling), kokuwa(Karate), and likes.

The Hubbaren is a resting place for the great Islamic scholar "mujadaddadi" and his two (2) beloved son Hassan Dan Shehu and Sambo by name with also hundreds  graves of Sokoto's elites Caliphates.

Rijiyar Kusugu, Daura 

The history of hausa tribe is incomplete without rijiyar kusugu. Rjiyar Kusugu is one of the most important archaeological sites in Daura, Katsina state. The history penalized that there is no specific time frame that can be said to have been when this well was dug or who dig it. The only historical fact is the arrival of an Arab man from Baghdad, Iraq Abu Yazid by name, Popularly known as Bayajidda, Bayajidda killed a king snake that prevented people from drinking water in the well.

The first picture on the ground is the origin of the well, and then the picture next to it is the room in which the well is dug. This well is still there, and there is enough water in it. Students especially those reading Linguistics and Hausa language visit for a visual research projects.

Kainji National Park

Kainji national park is one of the famous recognized, photogenic and historical national park in northern Nigeria and Nigeria as a whole. The park was form as a result of amalgamation of two Reserves (Reserves-Borgu and Zugurma) in 1976, later in 1978 the reserve was rename as Kainji National Park. 

The park is situated in between the two state namely Niger state and kwara state. The main purpose of the reserve is to conserve and promote the biodiversity of wildlife in the Nigeria.
